Scholarships
AGC MA Scholarship & MCAP Online Scholarship Program
AGC MA and the Massachusetts Construction Advancement Program (MCAP) give out scholarship awards each year to deserving individuals who are enrolled in a construction or civil engineering degree program at a four year college or university.
ELIGIBILITY
- Applicants must be a resident of Massachusetts or attending a college or university in Massachusetts.
- Eligible applicants must be enrolled in a degree-granting program related to construction, construction technology, construction engineering, civil engineering, or construction management at an accredited four year college or university.
- Candidates may be either full or part-time students. Part-time students must be enrolled in at least two construction or civil engineering related courses within the same semester.
- Applicants may apply each year that they meet the above eligibility requirements. Previous award recipients are eligible to reapply with the condition that they also meet the eligibility requirements.
- Financial need is not a criteria for eligibility but will be considered.
2026 Scholarship Application - Deadline to submit is November 1.

Robert L. Petrucelli Grant Application
The Robert L. Petrucelli Scholarship Fund of the Associated General Contractors of Massachusetts, Inc. was created to provide resources to advance the workforce development and inclusion goals of the commercial construction industry in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
To apply for this scholarship, candidates must:
1. Have the goal of entering a career in commercial construction or already be in the industry
2. Be enrolled or approved for education or skills training related to the industry (i.e. pre-apprenticeships, certificate programs, apprenticeships, 2- year degree programs)
3. Be from traditionally underrepresented groups and/or have financial need
4. Provide a professional resume and Letter of Reference
The Robert L. Petrucelli Scholarship will award grants of not less than $500 based upon the need of the applicants. The criteria for award will be a review of the application, required documents, and interview with select finalists. The Scholarship will accept applications on a rolling basis and provide quarterly beginning September 2022.

AGC of America Scholarships
The AGC Education and Research Foundation offers undergraduate and graduate level scholarships to students enrolled in ABET or ACCE-accredited construction management or construction related engineering programs. Over $10 million in scholarships have been awarded to more than 4,000 students attending colleges and universities across the country.
