Agency Interactions 2008

AGC has been hosting quarterly meetings with AGC member firms and DCAM Deputy Commissioner Mike McKimmey and Director of Construction Mike Lambert to discuss CM at Risk opportunities on public building projects.  There was a great exchange of information on such topics as insurance and bonding, prequalification, UMASS Building Authority exemptions from the bid laws, the role of the OPM, and State College Building Authority and School Building Authority projects and procurement practices.  The meeting was chaired by Jack Curtin of Curtin International.

AGC/DCAM Continues to meet

AGC and DCAM will join forces again this year to offer the industry a view to future work from the state agency on June 18 from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. at DCAM's office, One Ashburton Place in Boston.  Watch for more information.
