    Courses in This Series

Lean Construction Certificate Program: Unit 1, Variation in Production Systems |
Understand the different types of variation, learn the concept of throughput, distinguish the concepts of throughput and work in progress, and more.

Lean Construction Certificate Program: Unit 2, Pull in Production |
Compare batch-and-queue and continuous-flow production systems, distinguish push systems from pull systems, identify the effects of batching on production systems, identify the effects of pull on production systems, and explain Little's Law.

Lean Construction Certificate Program: Unit 3, Workstructuring |
Apply the methods and tools utilized in pull planning, describe the concept of Lean Workstructuring, outline the desired products of Lean Workstructuring, and describe the characteristics and application of the Last Planner® System.

Lean Construction Certificate Program: Unit 4, The Last Planner System |
Building on the work begin in LCEP Unit 3, this course revisits the Last Planner System (LPS) in greater depth, focusing on the concept of production planning, as contrasted with project management.

    CM-Lean Renewal Courses

Building Continuous Improvement - 4 Hours of continuing education credits for CM-Lean Renewal
Advanced Planner System - 4 Hours of continuing education credits for CM-Lean Renewal

    CM-Lean Renewal Requirements
As outlined in the CM-Lean Candidate Guide, the CM-Lean credential is valid for three (3) years. The CM-Lean was designed to denote knowledge and understanding of concepts related to Lean Construction adoption, practice and process transformation outlined in AGC’s Lean Construction Education Program. Because Lean Construction concepts are always evolving, individuals need to keep current with these advancements and continue their learning through continuing education.

    Renewal Process for CM-Lean Holders:
Prior to the three-year anniversary, the CM-Lean holder must submit thirty (30) hours of Lean Construction-related continuing education (CE) hours.
Once all CE hours are submitted and approved, applicants may submit the $100.00 CM-Lean renewal fee.
CM-Lean holders will receive an updated digital badge, and their credential will be valid for an additional three (3) years.
To learn more about the CM-Lean renewal process, review the CM-Lean Renewal Guidelines

Note:  MCAP contributing firms receive a 75% reimbursement of the registration fee, up to $4,000 total, per company, per class, for this program after full registration is paid to AGC.  Attendance is mandatory for reimbursement.
