Scholarships

Scholarship applications available 
AGC of Massachusetts and the Massachusetts Construction Advancement Program (MCAP) give out scholarship awards each year to deserving men and women who have attained their sophomore or junior year and are enrolled in a construction or civil engineering degree program.  Scholarships are given out in late fall of each year. AGC of America Scholarships

The AGC Education and Research Foundation's 2011 Scholarship and Awards Programs will open in early summer.  You will be able to download an application or go online for the scholarship applications.

College sophomores and juniors enrolled or planning to enroll in a full-time, four or five-year ABET or ACCE-accredited construction or civil engineering program are eligible to apply. College seniors enrolled in an undergraduate construction or civil engineering degree program, or others possessing an undergraduate degree in construction or civil engineering degree program are eligible to apply. 

Our renewable undergraduate scholarships are worth $2,500 per year for each year of undergraduate study.  The Saul Horowitz, Jr. Memorial Graduate Award, the Heffner Scholarships for Graduate Students and the Smith, Currie, and Hancock Graduate Award are worth $7,500 each, paid in two installments of $3,750.  Other award programs are the James L. Allhands Essay Contest and the Outstanding Educator Award. 

The deadline date for all scholarship and awards programs is November.  The website is www.agc.org.
