PART TIME ESTIMATOR – STEEL FABRICATION & MISC METALS
Estimator wanted for a growing welding company. Must have minimum 5 years’ experience within the steel/welding industry and previous experience reading engineering/architectural drawings.
Specific Skills include:
- Estimating/Purchasing/ Project Management
- Auto cad experience
- Ability to do take-offs
- Detailed spec review
- Pricing
- Proposal composition
- Attend Job Site Walk Thru
- Contract Negotiations
For this role you will need to be good at reading engineering/architectural drawings and possess a sound understanding of metal fabrication and welding. You should also have familiarity with vendor and subcontractor coordination. Site installation knowledge is preferable.
