Environmental Contractor has an immediate opening for a Senior Accountant
Senior Accountant
This position requires 10 years experience in construction industry accounting, including work in progress (on percentage completion basis), billing, change order valuation and documentation, job costing and field payables, including subcontractor management. Knowledge of Timberline software and CFMA certification is preferred.
The individual will be responsible for (1) preparing all payroll, including application of prevailing wage laws, 401k deductions, and payroll tax returns for multi-state reporting, both quarterly and annually (2) completing general ledger entries and financial statements and (3) assisting in valuing projects for billing amounts, schedules of values, and time and material billing.
