AGC/OSHA CHASE Program
The AGC/OSHA CHASE Program gives AGC-member contractor's incentives for demonstrating the highest safety standards and practices used in the construction industry. The program is the result of a series of lengthy negotiations with OSHA, the Massachusetts Building Trades Council, labor representatives, and the AGC of Massachusetts Safety Committee.
This program was formally implemented on October 1, 2003 and any constructor member firm is welcome to apply at the start of each calendar quarter (October, January, April, July). All firms will be required to re-apply for status one year from the date that they initially entered the program. A review committee of five Safety committee members has been selected. This Committee will review applications, supporting documents, qualifying and verification inspections, and meet with the AGC Director of Safety and OSHA periodically to resolve any issues or changes to the program.
