Workshop 2 – BIM/VDC Estimating (Revit and QTO) In this workshop you’ll learn how to perform quick preliminary takeoffs in Revit and then move into Autodesk QTO where you’ll use the model along with 2D documents to develop a more detailed takeoff. We will teach techniques that can deliver new efficiency and accuracy to your estimating process. Meet the presenters: Troy Mifsud, President, myCADD and certified Autodesk Software Specialist Anthony Governanti, Business Consultant - Service Point, USA Anthony brings 13 years of AEC industry knowledge and experience in maximizing the value of your Autodesk investments. In addition to working in the Civil Engineering community, Anthony spent nine years at Autodesk delivering Architectural, Engineering and Construction solutions to clients both globally and here in the Northeastern United States. Anthony specializes in helping firms be more profitable, win more projects, and gain a competitive advantage by leveraging the capabilities of industry trends like Building Information Modeling (BIM), Sustainable Design, and Integrated Project Delivery (IPD). MCAP Contributors All MCAP-contributing firms will receive 50% reimbursement of their registration fees - up to a maximum of $2000 per program, after full registration is paid to AGC. Attendance is required for reimbursement.
