November 16-19 – 8:30 am – 4:30 pm Prerequisite: Course 510, 500, 511, or 501 This course provides students with a survey of OSHA’s electrical standards and hazards associated with electrical installations and equipment. Topics include single-phase and three-phase systems; cord-connected, plug-connected, and fixed equipment; grounding, ground fault circuit interrupters; and safety-related work practices. Emphasis is placed on electrical hazard recognition and OSHA policies and procedures. Students receive instruction on safety and correct use of their electrical testing equipment. 3.0 CEUs, TCH MCAP Contributors All MCAP-contributing firms will receive 50% reimbursement of their registration fees - up to a maximum of $2000 per program, after full registration is paid to AGC.
