Oct 7 - 8:30 am - 4:30 pm Work Zone Traffic Control - Based on the Manual for Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD), this workshop is for contractors working in a public way, regardless of whether it's in the road or off the road. Road crews, utility workers and contractors will benefit from this workshop that uses video, group activities, open discussions and hands-on and problem solving activities. Topics include minimum standards of the MUTCD, legal liability, proper use of cones, signs, "parts" of a typical work zone, new standards on retro-reflective warning garments, and handling common worksite problems. 0.7 CEU.
