  • Michael O'Brien

    Chair of the Advisory Council, AGC MA
    District Operations Manager, Gilbane Building Company

    Michael O’Brien serves as Gilbane’s Massachusetts District Operations Manager, where he oversees all operations department activities in the state with a focus on customer satisfaction, quality, training, and adherence to policies and procedures. Gilbane’s Massachusetts District office employs over 150 employees who deliver a full range of preconstruction, construction and program management services. O’Brien presently oversees various projects in the Commonwealth including the large scale DCAM Worcester Psychiatric Hospital.

     

  • Ed Adelman

    Executive Director, MA State College Building Authority
     
    Edward is a registered Architect, with a BArch from Cornell University and an MArch from Kent State University. His career in capital project planning, design, construction, and financing includes positions with the National Park Service, Babson College, Salem State University, and Brandeis University before joining the MSCBA in 2002. Representing the owner, he is especially interested in effective design/construction teams to deliver high quality projects on time and on budget.

     

  • Allan Ames

    President, BR+A Consulting Engineers

    With over 30 years of experience, Allan is a Registered Professional Mechanical Engineer in 16 states and a LEED Accredited Professional.  He is a frequent presenter at industry symposia including the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE), Tradelines, and Labs21.  Allan is heavily involved in the engineering design for a broad range of project types for healthcare, academic, research, and pharmaceutical clients nationwide. 

     

  • Danielle Arciero

    Manager, Design Technologies, Massport

    Danielle is the Manager of Design Technologies Integration for the Capital Programs and Environmental Affairs Department at Massport. She provides leadership, input, and guidance on the integration, incorporation, and adoption of new and emerging technologies relevant to the Authority’s needs in the design and construction of Facilities and Infrastructure. Prior to joining Massport, Danielle was a Project Manager with Gilbane and a BIM Manager with Consigli Construction where she worked on various projects. She received her Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Massachusetts Amherst in Architecture and Design.

     

  • Milton J. Benjamin, Jr.

    President, KAGE Growth Strategies, LLC
     
    Milton Benjamin is president of the KAGE Growth Strategies, LLC., which advises on and implements corporate supplier diversity solutions and small business development. In 2006 he founded and was CEO of the Initiative for a New Economy that significantly expanded opportunities for diverse firms in MA. Milton holds B.S. and J.D. degrees from Northeastern University.

     

  • Doug DiCerbo, CLU

    Financial Advisor, Northwestern Mutual Financial Network

    Doug DiCerbo has been with Northwestern Mutual for over twenty years helping his clients protect their family’s financial security. At Northwestern Doug has accomplished many professional milestones such as qualifying for Million Dollar Round Table (1999-2015), obtaining his Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU®) designation, and qualifying as a top producer with Northwestern. Doug has been a leader in The Boston Network Office participating in management and mentoring of new financial representatives as well as teaching courses to expand the service we expect.

     

  • Dennis Driscoll

    Vice President, The Driscoll Agency

    The Driscoll Agency is one of the largest independent insurance agencies in the area and has been a major force in the Greater Boston area for over 50 years. They advise and provide insurance and risk management solutions for thousands of businesses and individuals throughout New England and beyond. 

     

  • Bill Endicott

    Sr. Project Manager, Mill Creek Residential Trust

    Bill is a Project Manager with Skanska USA Building where he has worked on various Aviation, Laboratory, K-12, and Corporate Commercial projects in his 8+ years there. He is also the current Chair of AGC’s Construction Leadership Council and a LEED AP. Bill graduated with a BS in Civil Engineering from the University of New Hampshire and an MS in Engineering and Project Management from the University of California, Berkeley. 

     

  • Brian Fitzsimons

    President, Dec-Tam

    Brian Fitzsimons is the President of Dec-Tam Corporation and has been in the environmental remediation business for over 30 years. A twenty year veteran employee, he took over as President of Dec-Tam Corporation in 2005. Brian holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering and a BA in Mathematics from Trinity College in Dublin Ireland, and a MBA from Boston College.

     

  • Robert France

    President, Senate Construction

    Bob has over 30 years in the construction industry working his way up from the field into project management then into estimating and sales. He founded Senate Construction in 1990 on the principle of streamlining the preconstruction and construction process to help his clients meet their budget, construction, and scheduling needs. Bob has a BS in Civil Engineering from Northeastern University and is a past Chairman of the AGC of Massachusetts.

     

  • Robert Keeley

    Senior Vice President, STV|DPM

    Bob has over 25 years of experience in real estate, construction and project management and is Senior Vice President of STV|DPM, with operations in New England and New York.  Previously, Bob was the founder and owner of Diversified Project Management. DPM was founded in 1989 and specializes in Pre-Construction Planning, Construction Management, FF&E Coordination and Relocation Management.  DPM was acquired by STV in March 2015.  Bob earned a BS in Business Management from Bryant University.

     

  • Fred Kramer, AIA

    Vice President, Stantec
     
    Fred Kramer, recent past President of ADD Inc, a nationally recognized Planning, Architecture, Interior Design and Branding design firm with offices in Boston and Miami, is now the Commercial Sector Leader for the United States for Stantec, a North American multi-disciplinary design firm. While leading ADD Inc, the firm’s work included award winning office spaces and campuses for both corporations and developers, urban multi-family housing, college and university residence halls, and complex mixed use projects throughout the country.

     

  • John Lauring

    President, Lauring Construction, Inc.
     
    John Lauring has grown up working for the Lauring family-owned business. He is presently the Chief Executive Officer and has experience in all aspects of operating a smaller-sized construction firm. He is a member of the Massachusetts Bar and a director of Commonwealth National Bank. Mr. Lauring received a BSCE degree from Tufts University in 1976 and earned a JD degree in 1984 from Western New England College of Law.

     

  • Anthony Leonard

    Senior Regional Facility Manager, Liberty Mutual

    Responsible for the day to day facility management as well as the long term direction of Liberty Mutual's owned facilities in NE, consisting of 13 facilities and over 2 million square ft. Major areas of responsibility include electrical mechanical maintenance, utilities, housekeeping, and security as well as infrastructure capital improvements. Responsible for capital and expense budgeting, long term planning and strategic sourcing of facility services.

  • Joseph Maguire

    Senior Vice President, Alexandria Real Estate Equities, Inc.

    Joe has been with Alexandria Real Estate Equities Inc, since 2006 and has been a key leader who has relentlessly contributed to various important strategic projects, including the successful development of a 1.7M SF of construction and development known as Alexandria Center® at Kendall Square. This includes active involvement in managing relationships and lease matters including Sanofi, Biogen and ARIAD Pharmaceuticals. 
     
  • Francis W. Madigan III

    Co-Chair Advisory Council
    President, F. W. Madigan Co., Inc.
     
    Fran establishes the corporate objectives and leads the growth of F.W. Madigan. He is a past chairman of the AGC of Massachusetts and a national director of the AGC of America. Fran holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute. He is involved in several community organizations and boards.

     

  • Stan Martin

    Owner, Commonsense Construction Law LLC

    The owner of Commonsense Construction Law LLC, Stan has been practicing law for more than 30 years. He has a degree in architecture from MIT and worked in construction before and during law school at BC. Stan writes frequently about construction issues and actively participates in construction industry groups.

     

  • Debi McDonald, AIA

    Senior Associate, NBBJ

    Debi is a senior member of NBBJ’s Science and Technology group. With over 30 years’ experience, she has focused her career on programming, planning, and architectural design for colleges and universities, with special interests in flexible, adaptable and sustainable planning and design, and strategic, transformative renovations. She is a member of the SCUP North Atlantic Regional Council, a recent regional representative and SCUP Board member, and a recent BSA Board member. She received Bachelor and Master degrees in architecture from Cornell University and was the first woman to win the Rotch Traveling Scholarship.

     

  • Mary Nardone

    Associate Vice President, Capital Project Management, Boston College

    Mary is Associate Vice President for Capital Projects at Boston College, responsible for the planning, design, and construction of all new construction and large scale renovations on campus. Mary served as Project Director for Boston College’s Campus Master Plan. She also serves as part-time faculty in BC’s graduate school of management. Prior to joining Boston College, she held positions of engineering and engineering management, in the contracting and consulting engineering fields.

     

  • David Noon

    President, J&M Brown Company, Inc.

    David Noon is President of J. & M. Brown Company, Inc., an electrical construction firm founded in 1921. Over the past 30 plus years, he has expanded the services J. & M. Brown provides by establishing divisions specializing in Fire Alarm Systems, Telecommunications, Security and Energy/Sustainability. Notable recent and current projects include the Art of the Americas Wing at the MFA and the Longwood Center Life Science Research Facility. David currently serves on the board of the National Electrical Contractors Association.

     

  • David Perini

    Principal, David Perini Enterprises

    Dave's construction career spans nearly 5 decades. He was employed by Perini Corporation for 37 years, 27 of which were as its Chairman and President. Upon his retirement in 2000, Dave was appointed Commissioner of the Division of Capital Asset Management and served as Commissioner of DCAM until 2011 when he retired. Dave is a graduate of the College of the Holy Cross and Boston College Law School.

     

  • Jennifer Pinck

    President, Pinck & Co.

    Jennifer has been President of Pinck & Co., an Owner's Project Management firm with focus on non-profit, public sector and institutional clients, for 17 years. Jennifer has served on several distinguished committees that includes the Cambridge Board of Zoning Appeals, ECT, AGC MA and currently acts as a Loan Committee Member for Boston Community Capital.  

     

  • Robert Sullivan

    Senior Director of Facilities Construction, Boston Children's Hospital

    Bob is a life-long construction professional with an extensive background in project management and senior operations. His career spans over 33 years and is currently the Senior Director of Facilities Construction at Boston Children’s Hospital. Prior to joining BCH, Bob spent 29 years with Bovis Lend Lease mostly on projects in New York City, Upstate New York, and Boston. He served as the Principal-in-Charge of the Boston office from 2008 – 2010 managing over 160 professionals and over $1.4 billion in construction and pre-construction work. Bob graduated from Syracuse University and SUNY, Environmental Science & Forestry at Syracuse.

     

  • E. Scott Sumner, CCM

    Department Chair, Construction Management, Wentworth Institute of Technology

    Scott is the Chair of Wentworth’s CM Department. In addition to teaching CM courses, he leads Wentworth’s CM student mentoring program and serves as faculty coach for the Wentworth CM competition team. Prior to joining Wentworth’s faculty, he had over 25 years of experience in the construction management industry, where he held executive positions with O’Brien-Kreitzberg and Heery International, focusing primarily upon large municipal construction and highway projects. He received his Bachelor of Science from California State University and a Master of Science from the University of Southern California.

     

  • Lisa Wexler

    Past Chair
    President, Elaine Construction, Inc.
     
    Lisa Wexler is the third generation of the Wexler family responsible for the stewardship of ELAINE Construction Company, Newton, Mass. Lisa is a graduate of UVM and Harvard’s Executive MBA program. Recent honors include: 2008 Enterprising Women’s Magazine Entrepreneur of the Year; 2009 New England Women Business Owners Entrepreneur of the Year; 2009 Northeastern University Center for Family Business Marshall Paisner Award Winner.
